Mogol, mongolische Volksgruppe in Afghanistan. Die etwa 10 000 Moghol sprechen nur noch zum Teil ihre mit tadschikischen Elementen durchsetzte mongolische Sprache. Es besteht eine Literatur muslimischer Prägung in arabischer Schrift mit zahlreichen arabischen Fremdwörtern.
